Can I qualify for a camper or RV loan with less-than-perfect credit?

Although a credit score of 650 is preferred for our camper and motorhome loans in Ohio, we also consider other factors when making a loan decision. In addition to your credit history, we will also review your income, employment history, and your current debts.

Can I get pre-approved for a camper or RV loan?

Yes, we offer pre-approval for our credit union motorhome loans. We'll do a preliminary review of your finances and give you an estimate of how much you qualify to borrow. Keep in mind that pre-approval is not the same as formal loan approval, which requires a more detailed review of your finances and a hard credit check.

Can I finance a used camper or RV?

Recreational vehicles can be expensive, we get it. That’s why we offer RV financing for used models. Loan approval depends on the age, condition, current value, and loan amount of the RV or camper you are interested in buying.

Do I need collateral to finance a camper or RV?

With our credit union RV loans, the camper or RV you are buying serves as the collateral for the loan. No additional collateral is needed.

Do I qualify to be an OUCU Financial member?

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or goes to school in the following counties: Athens, Hocking, Fairfield, Perry, Morgan, Washington, Vinton, and Meigs. You also qualify for membership if you are an Ohio University or Hocking College active or retired employee, student, or graduate, or if you have a family member who is eligible for membership.
