Do you own a business or LLC?

Federal legislation now requires you to report Beneficial Ownership Information to the government agency FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network).
Failure to report could result in penalties, including fines up to $500/day or imprisonment.
The new Corporate Transparency Act addresses the disclosure of corporate ownership and is intended to help prevent and combat money laundering, terrorist financing, corruption, and tax fraud. If you have a business registered in any state, you must file the report. We recommend you contact your attorney or accountant with questions.

SCAM ALERT:

Beware, the fraudsters are developing Corporate Transparency Act scams to trick you and steal your personal information!
Be sure to use the official BOI E-Filing System site, don’t click links from emails, and never give out your personal information or passwords.
